Description

The Galileo Gold is engineered to manage patients from intubation through extubation without the need for multiple devices. Its unique combination of automated ventilation and high-level monitoring allows clinicians to apply individualized lung-protective strategies with confidence, even in high-pressure ICU environments.

  • Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV): A world-renowned closed-loop mode that automatically adjusts the respiratory rate, tidal volume, and inspiratory time based on the patient’s lung mechanics and spontaneous activity.

  • P/V Tool® (Exclusive Gold Feature): A fully automated diagnostic maneuver that records a quasi-static pressure-volume curve. This allows clinicians to assess lung recruitability and determine the optimal PEEP level at the bedside.

  • Tube Resistance Compensation (TRC): An advanced feature that minimizes the patient’s work of breathing by actively overcoming the resistance imposed by the endotracheal or tracheotomy tube.

  • Comprehensive Ventilation Spectrum: Supports a full range of invasive and non-invasive modalities, including DuoPAP, APRV, P-SIMV, and high-performance NIV for actively breathing patients.

  • Intelligent User Interface: Features a large color touchscreen with a logical, two-knob operation system, providing real-time waveforms, loops, and trends for up to 26 monitoring parameters.

  • Precision Sensing: Equipped with a distal flow sensor at the airway opening to detect pressure and flow as close to the patient as possible, ensuring accurate triggering and reliable monitoring.

  • Intra-Hospital Transport: Built with a rugged frame and internal battery backup, allowing for continuous, high-level ventilation during patient transfers between departments.
